We all love a good cup of coffee but at one time or another, every coffee drinker will end up spilling some of their favorite morning brew on their clothes.
When this happens, it might seem like you’ll never get that dark stain out of what might have been your favorite outfit.

Today, we’ll be sharing how you can remove those pesky stains from the most common fabrics: cotton and synthetics.
1. Coffee Stain Removal from Cotton Fabrics
Cotton comes from natural fibers that are in the Genus Gossypium plant family. The process of removing a coffee stain from cotton is simple.
You will want to start by blotting the excess coffee from the clothing with a clean cloth.
Next, spray the stain with a commercial stain remover and then wash it as normal.
If you notice that the spot did not come out, repeat the steps until the stain is no longer present, before drying.
2. Coffee Stain Removal from Synthetic Fabrics
Synthetic fibers are factory-made through a process involving chemicals. There are different types of synthetic fabrics and including acrylic, modacrylic, nylon, polyester, spandex, and more but the process is the same for all of them.
Start by blotting the excess coffee with a dry cloth.
Then you’ll need to gather a few supplies: 1 quart of warm water, 1/2 teaspoon of dish soap, and lastly, 1 tablespoon of white vinegar.
After you mix all the supplies, soak the clothing item in the mixture and let it sit for fifteen minutes.
Once the soaking is complete, rinse the stain with warm water and use a sponge to apply rubbing alcohol to any parts that are still stained, and wash.
As we mentioned before, repeat these steps as necessary till the stain is completely gone.
