How To Stay On Top of Your Laundry Chores

Whether you’re living alone or with your family, staying on top of your laundry is a challenge that many people face in our very busy world.

It’s not always an easy task to keep current with your laundry, but it’s not impossible.

In this article, we’ll be sharing our tips and tricks for staying on top of your laundry, no matter how busy your schedule is.

1. Put Dirty Clothes into The Hamper Right Away

Even as adults this can sometimes get ignored, and we’ve all been guilty at some point.

Maybe we had a long day at work, or we’re in a hurry to get changed for a party, whatever it is, we’ve all left dirty clothes on the floor at one time or another.

Help prevent this by moving the laundry basket to the area where you often change so that it’s accessible at that exact moment.

2. Sort as You Go

Sorting laundry can take some time when you have a lot to wash and when everything is mixed together.

We recommend having four separate laundry baskets, or buying one with four compartments(whites, colors, towels, and urgent), so you can sort as you go.

3. Start Your Laundry in The Morning

By starting a load of laundry early in the morning, you’re able to get ahead and stay on top of your laundry needs.

If you’re not able to fold or dry the items till later in the evening, that’s okay, you still got the first step done.

4. Create an URGENT Basket
